Introducing… DJ Blakey!

Meet Blake… a Year 6 pupil here at Chapel St Leonards Primary School who has an incredible talent…

Despite not even starting secondary school yet, Blake, AKA DJ Blakey, is an aspiring DJ who already has his own regular slot on Radio Mablethorpe, every Wednesday from 4pm – 6pm.

Blake attended a DJ Club in Mablethorpe, the chair of Radio Mablethorpe attended one of the sessions, and heard ne of Blake’s sets. Giving Blake some feedback he mentioned that there was a new radio station (Radio Mablethorpe) and asked Blake to send in a mix. 

Following this Blake was offered a regular slot every Wednesday from 4-6pm. It is pre-recorded and Blake sends his ‘set’ in each week. He can also be found on Soundcloud, where he uploads longer mixes, specialising is dance music.
